Yesterday was a pleasant way to spend a Saturday. All we knew was we wanted to get out of the house. Ryan and I woke up and set out for the thrift stores, a favorite past-time. Several months ago we developed a taste for vintage records and bought ourselves a turn-table. We’ve had a great time scavaging for albums at yard sales, thrift stores and relative’s back rooms finding many treasures along the way. After two consignment shops and one thrift store, we bought two new albums to add to our collection: The Commodores: Hot On The Tracks and Ella Fitzgerald/The Duke Ellington Songbook.
This morning I got up, made some coffee, put on Ella, and read through the paper. Not a bad way to spend a lazy Sunday morning.
